EPIC Training

 Participants will learn how to assess and treat a patient who is experiencing a traumatic brain injury using a high fidelity manikin. Learners receive instruction on Excellence in Prehospital Injury Care (EPIC) - a program that has doubled the adjusted survival odds of moderate traumatic brain injury patients in Arizona.

In addition, the learners will evaluate the effectiveness of their communication and team work. SIM-MT's trainings create a safe environment where students can explore their knowledge, make mistakes, correct their skills, consider new concepts, and leave feeling more confident in their ability to tackle a similar call in the field.
