Jason Mahoney

Classroom program director

Jason Mahoney serves as the Classroom Program Director at SIM-MT, leading the development of flexible, hybrid learning programs and expanding the organization’s classroom-based training. His work includes EMT courses, endorsement trainings, and a growing portfolio of emergency preparedness and disaster response exercises across Montana and the surrounding region.

A nationally registered paramedic and highly credentialed emergency management professional, Jason brings decades of experience across EMS, healthcare systems, public health, and emergency preparedness. His career spans roles in ambulance services, hospital systems, public health coordination, and national-level disaster training, including work as an instructor for FEMA, NDLSF, and Texas A&M TEEX. He joined SIM-MT in 2024 to build and lead its classroom division.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing and performing music, photography, and exploring Montana’s backcountry with his family.
