MOMS OB Training
The Montana Obstetrics & Maternal Support (MOMS) program was created to connect rural providers to obstetrical/gynecological, perinatal, mental health and substance abuse specialists to build competency and consistency across perinatal providers.
Simulation scenario chosen from the five MOMS-approved cases: Normal Delivery, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pre-eclampsia, Trauma in Pregnancy, and Shoulder Dystocia. Debriefings will focus on best practices, skillsets, teamwork and communication, and identifying resources when caring for OB patients in rural Montana.
