The Montana Geriatric Education Center (MTGEC), at University of Montana, which administers a Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program (GWEP) grant funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), is an interdisciplinary center whose purpose is to improve health outcomes for older adults by integrating geriatrics into primary care and developing a healthcare workforce that maximizes patient and family engagement.

 

The learning objectives of the simulations will support the three main objectives of MTGEC: integrate geriatrics into primary care; develop the inter-professional geriatric workforce; and provide education to support older adults, caregivers, and communities.
