Tamela Crickenberger serves as the Online Learning Programs Director at SIM-MT, where she leads the development and growth of the organization’s online education initiatives. With a Master of Science in Education specializing in Online Learning and nearly 20 years of experience, she brings a strong blend of healthcare expertise and instructional design. Her career began at the University of Virginia Health System, where she spent 15 years in compliance and consulting and developed a training program with a 90% national certification pass rate—well above the national average.
Today, Tamela focuses on creating engaging, high-quality learning experiences that expand SIM-MT’s simulation-based training into the digital space. Based in central Virginia, she enjoys writing, reading, yoga, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two grandchildren.
